If you read our review of Stella yesterday, you'll have a bit of an idea of what the piece is about (but not too much - we don't give spoilers away here!), the inspiration behind it and some background to David Tuffnell, the writer and director. But you absolutely need to meet the cast too!
The three women that make up the troupe are Doreen Frankland, Laura Lonsdale (co-founder of Less Is More Productions) and Victoria Holtom, and although all of them vary in personalities and experience, they have formed an amazing bond through performing that is wonderful to see.
When talking to them after their performance, it was almost impossible to not feel slightly giddy from the conversation and the chemistry between the women, showing that despite generational differences, undeniable connections can be formed through shared experiences.
Check out the video below to learn more about them, their roles in Stella and how they feel about taking the show up to Edinburgh Fringe.
Stella is being performed from August 3rd - 16th at Riddles Court, Edinburgh Fringe at 4pm. Tickets are £12 each. See here for more information.
